Why do some A-tier events have non-members in the field? It seems that on the PDGA website, A-Tier events denoted with an asterik (A*) <---Consist only of PDGA members.

I guess it doesn't matter to me, being a PDGA member anyhow...
They signed up at the tournament or just didn't get their number before the tournament date.

I have a block of 30 rooms reserved at the Emporia Travelodge. Group ID is discgolf. Rate is $55 a night plus tax. They will be holding these rooms for us until the 15th of August. I apologize about the short notice; their clause states that if the rooms aren't filled by that date they have to be able to fill them. They said the group rate also expires after the 15th, so make sure you get your room reserved soon. Under new ownership....they assured me the pool was open and the guy who was dumping chemicals last year was fired! Free wireless internet in room, business center in the lobby, and cont breakfast. They asked that i relay that the dome (pool) closes at 10 as a courtesy to other guests and there was no alcohol allowed in that area. Any questions, pm me or ask them here.

Count me in!
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.
