Sorry bout that Casey. No other pre-reg Adv yet, but SEVERAL have said they're playing. Never have to worry bout the Am's, they'll be there. Happy to have this many pro's already reg.

First event at Derby. First event with tee pads. First event of the season. I would expect a good showing.

I just hope its not muddy out there. holes 7 and 8 get really bad . like walking with bricks tied to your shoes. maybe we could get some straw or some thing spread around out there? also does the city have the porta potty cleaned and stocked before league and other events out there ? if we are going to have lunches served out there that might be some thing that could be looked into.
I for one am looking forward to this tourney just because it is a fun course to play. Also If I hear other wise from the people running it i will be bringing some killer tye dyes to sell .

Word from the city is that there will be at least one (maybe 2) port-a-potty there before the tourney...

As far as the mud is concerned, we're probably at the mercy of the good Lord there. We played there this weekend and it was worst going over the bridge from #1 to #2's tee. #5-8 were pretty bad as well. Not sure if using any of the spare mulch around there would do any good considering the vast area that it would be needed on..

Guess we will just have to pray for some dry, windy weather to dry it out!

No adv am yet?

I'm playing Adv (just haven't gotten out to see anyone to register....being a new dad kinda cuts into disc golf time). I'm sure Adkins will play, and Phil Jackson, and Vest (at least I hope they do). Plus, I'm trying to get some of the Pratt guys to come play. BOB DECKER!!!- TALK TO YOUR SON!!!!!

Mud will be what it will be. I played Saturday in the mud too and worked my way around most of it. If it's muddy, it'll be muddy for all players. Derby has planted plenty of grass, it just needs time, warmth and rain. This is just one of those things that is part of a new course coming into it's own. One of these days we'll be saying, "damn, can't they mow this $hit". Fluty.....don't worry about the advanced players here, I'm sure you will have all the competion you want.

Lots of Advanced players have said they will be playing, just only one has pre-reg. Dont worry, adv. is almost always one of the biggest divisions.. Come on KDGA, lets make this an annual season kick off!! Can we get to 70 players??
