Re: 21st Annual Doo Dah, June 5th & 6th
Sorry for any who didn't get registered online. Please register Friday night if possible & play doubles. Or early (definitely BEFORE 9AM) Saturday morning. Expecting many more players, but probably will not fill at 144 players. First come first serve on choice of tourney stamped discs.
Basket giveaways to winners of 2 biggest am divisions (in total entree fees).
Raffle contest back this year for a DB-5 giveaway. This year we'll also be raffling off 2 $100 Fox & Hound party cards. So for each raffle ticket you purchase, you have an entry into the upshot qualifier to win the basket & an entry for the random raffle just prior to the awards & just after the upshot/putting contest finals.

In regards to the extra fees, Shawn and I will be signing up day of because all those fees double when a couple is playing; that makes $20 for non-pdga and $9 for online reg (yes I know, "well then Sign up!" but we only play one or two PDGA events a year). I can see $2 or $2.50 for online and I have paid that many times, but seriously, it does not cost almost $5 to handle a single online registration. That $9 will be supplementing my fuel cost and we will see you all Friday night or Saturday morning!!!!!

Yeah its good. Thanks. I was thinking that the PDGA would update the roster since we was paying for the tournament thru them. I just wanted to make sure that they wasnt messed up..iqbal wrote:I've been out of town and wasn't able to update the players list. It's updated now. Please let me know if you are signed up and don't see your name.

Sorry Darren,Darren B wrote:is there a host hotel for this event ?
This is something that was not done. Maybe someone can look into or recommend a decent motel for cheap? Maybe everyone could stay at the same place? There is supposed to be a players party Saturday night at the River City Brewery, but plan is for 8:30 tee time Sunday, so don't stay out too late.

I know a few of us plan to head out to Lake Afton Saturday night. Little bit of kick back and relax time. Anyone is welcome to come out and chill or camp along beside us.
Looks like it is about 20 miles from Herman Hill.

Does this mean Smitty is back in action? Haven't heard the update on that in a while.smitty wrote:I know a few of us plan to head out to Lake Afton Saturday night. Little bit of kick back and relax time. Anyone is welcome to come out and chill or camp along beside us.

Re: 21st Annual Doo Dah, June 5th & 6th
Lunch at Oak Saturday & Sunday.
There will be a small group of volunteers from the Girl Scout House Rehabilitation group that will be putting on lunch for us at Oak Park both day. Whatever proceeds there are will go toward funding this project. Plan is to do a meal that includes a Bratwurst & perhaps chips, soda or water, brownie all for $5. Extra brats for $2, I think. Cash only. They may have Gatorade for sale. So please plan on staying at the course for lunch. They said they'd be setting up near the scout house, but I'm strongly suggesting that they do this near hole 1 as that is where most of us will be. I'm not sure how big of problem it would be for us to drive over and grab some food, but I want to make sure as many people to participate in this as possible. For those who don't know, the scout house is the old building over by hole 9. It needs a new roof along with many other things. If it was rennovated, we could use it for a clubhouse or a tourney HQ, and there would even be outdoor access to a bathroom right on the course! So please support them however you can. Thanks!

Don't let Smitty lie to you...He is working on his "secret weapon" and it works as well as any AM player I've played with. I can't tell you what it is, but when he gets the release, Open players better beware!!!!!!!!!
God,Family,Discgolf,DenverBroncos,Sooners...Says it all for me.

Lunch has been called off. Some details didn't work and they were very short on help. I told them we might have another opportunity for this at our Membership Drive event.Schoen-hopper wrote:Lunch at Oak Saturday & Sunday.

ACDGC Ace Fund is at $375. ACDGC members who get into the tournament ace fund will get half this amount in addition to all of the tournament ace pot at $5 per head. I know Rich hit a huge one last year.
KDGA members are also eligible for half the KDGA pot, which is currently $53.
If no ace is hit, there will be a throw-off for part of the tourney ace fund.
