I am not going to add any numbers until the results are final. So on the next ratings update I will be able to add a couple more.

Like I stated before GBO isn't on there. I think the ratings should change.

Looks like unofficially that Babbit is leading the race. Kinda hard to figure until GBO and Manhattan are updated, and I didn't use DooDah since the ratings are still unofficial.

Babbit 1019 average

Leo is at 1005 average but only 4 rounds... Doo Dah should help that

Randy Brown 993 average. Don't know if he is interested in going though

Nelson, Crispin, and Smitty only have 2 rounds that I could calculate with.

After the next ratings update, we should be able to do a little more number crunching. Now it is kind of a waste of time.

Looks like KB has a firm grip on the spot. If he qualifies in Des Moines Leo and Hemmi will be fighting for the spot.

I have updated the info on my spreadsheet to include GBO. I will do some calculations and let you know who is in the lead with their 8 best Kansas rounds.

I am also going to end this after the Revenge of the Monkey. That would give a person a month to prepare. I really want to include Hays, but it just doesn't give a person enough time to plan.

Here are your results up to and including the Glass Blown Open

Hemmi 1009
Leo 986.75
RB 1001
Bobby V 984
Dick Parker 961(6 rounds)
Chad Larson 975 (6 rounds)
Nate 986 (5 rounds)
Mark Martin 1002
Swede 977 (6 rounds)
Jake 980
Smitty 1002 (6 rounds)
Crispin 987 (6 rounds)
Babbit 1032

I don't think anyone is going to finish ahead of Kevin. 1032 is higher then most of us have for a single round!

We are all wishing you good luck in Des Moines. Which would be a great place to go and play and try to qualify. There is a good chance that a person who doesn't even cash will get a USDGC birth.

I certainly will give it my best shot. I am preparing for that tournament as well as I can. I disagree with you that you a spot will slip to someone who doesn't cash. Only if the Iowa/ Minnesota contingent do well at the Majestic will things loosen up. Tanner, Sprague and Olsen are all looking for spots. Then you have Drummond. In any event I also have Worlds as a potential qualifier as well. Hopefully, Hemi and I won't need it.

I didn't know that Worlds was a qualifier.

It's not on the qualifying events document, BUT, all current past and WORLD CHAMPIONS get invited.

I figured Kev was just planning on winning worlds so he could go to USDGC.

Probably is. I can just see him running around after winning a world championship, "Has Anyone seen an orange Rhyno?!?!"
