I haven't played Pecan in probably 4 years. I don't remember many of the holes, but I do remember Chris Tyler's speech. "I just want to thank myself. I pretty much made this win possible." Best speech I have ever heard.

Buddy, Fluty and I will be attending.

I would like to thank everyone who came out and braved the elements. The day started off when some wind, rain, and some sleet but finished pretty good. Though the wind never died down, I thought the conditions for the second round were much better. I hope everyone had a good time and will come back next year when we try this again. Thanks again.

Thanks Walnut Valley for putting this shindig on. First time to play the course. Campgrounds look different with fewer smiling hippies and no campfire haze. Perty fun course. I could tell that it would be a real chore to play if the mowing/flagging/painting weren't done so cheers to you and the city for making everything but the weather perfect.

What was the verdict on the camper window? Also I think I left a plain-jane red fold-out chair beside Boebo's cart when I split.

We ended up with a chair, kind of a dark red or maroon in color...it's at Shans house. As for the window I haven't heard anything back about it yet. Thanks for coming all the way down Swede, I know you must of had second thoughts with the weather the closer you got to the course. Congrats again on the win, that was two solid rounds in some horrid conditions!
