A quick way to get to Little River for you folks from ICT or points south and east.

Drive to Hutch via Yoder Road, which becomes Airport Road north of Highway 50, and curves around west into 17th Ave as you pass the airport. Cross K-61 by the mall and continue west. At the center of town turn north on Plum Street (Kwik Shop & Papa Johns catty corner from one another). Go about 20 miles until you reach Highway 56. Go five miles west to K-46 and turn north into LR, after the highway curves right and you come over the hill, the course will be the first thing in town on the right. You can't miss it.

Hi, I am Mary Konen. The Little River Disc Golf course sits on my property in Little River and my family and I are looking forward to having you all come on Sunday!
As your hostess, I want to give you a heads up about the delicious lunch you can expect when you come to the tournament. The Rice County Relay for Life will be serving smokin' grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, barbecued baked beans, chips, and watermelon slices. A sandwich with all the trimmings will cost you a mere $5.00 donation to the Relay for Life.
We'll have bottled water, Gatorade, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and Mountain Dew available for purchase throughout the day of the tournament. Flippin' sweet koozies will be available for purchase and will include an ice cold beer, if that is how you choose to wet your whistle. Again, all proceeds will benefit the Relay for LIfe.
We have other delicious treats on the menu, but you have to come back to this site and check for further postings to know what they are!
Little River and the Konen family is looking forward to meeting each of you on Sunday.

For those of you planning on making this a Hutch / Little River weekend, There will be a Rendezvous Preview featuring $10 doubles starting after the conclusion of the Salt City Open, followed by a players party / BBQ and camp out at my house (grills will be available and dont forget tournament sponsor Garden of Eden has the best grilling supplies right here in town and Barta's Beer Barn for your favorite beverages. Depending on the weather conditions I hear there may be a BOOM or two Saturday night out at the course!!

Just in, here is the prizes for the Little River Learning Center Raffle; gift cards from WalMart and Wendy's, fuel card from Casey's, a small cooler, oversized folding chair, set of 5 outdoor games, coupons to papa murphys, Ice cream from wendy's and Spangles, Disc golf basket, an EZ-UP shelter,50 bones to be spent at discs unlimited. tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. WOW !!!

Mary Konen here again to let you all know that there has been a recent development. For those of you who will be needing a snack after the delicious lunch served by the Rice County Relay for Life, there will be slices of homemade pie available for purchase. The pies will be made by some of Rice County's finest bakers so prepare yourself for a little slice of heaven.
Looking forward to a perfect day, 80-ish and calm winds, at the Konen Creek Disc Golf course in Little River!

Played the course last sun. And it is set up great. Ob.'s, long holes, short hole, dog legs, and an island, all around great course. Can't wait till sun.

done deal opie my address 610 spring st. little river kansas 67457 to get here you have to pass by the course its 1 block away. i have an update I hear the new DD champ along with all time favorite RB will be in the house. Im hoping that will include a Saturday night apperance at the players party ???? how many 1000 rated rounds will a Konen Creek allow ?? we shall see
