The only problem with the system is it doesn't handle odd numbers well. We had 9 in pro which makes a group of 4 and a group of 5. That means 3 people will get a bye. Everyone who had a bye could only score 5 and a half points. People who had no bye could score 6.

Maybe the second round matches could be arranged matches to ensure that you do not play the same people as the first round. I played Convers and Hickman twice. Out of everyone who scored higher than me, Bo is the only one I played.

All and all it was a fun day. Truth is that it is a free tourney.

I understand what you are saying Austin.

We could just throw out the entire second card reshuffle when we have an odd number. Then just look and see who needs to play who and put them on the same card.

We could of also 9 different 4 hole matches? That would be 36 holes. Only problem is that would involve a on of shuffle/reshuffle type of thing.

On a side note, it might be easier if an odd # of holes were played for scoring purposes, say 5.
