Morning: Overcast, humid, 50 degrees.
Afternoon: Sunshine, blue skies and a light breeze, 65 degrees.
Ground was moist but not muddy.
The format was random flip doubles. We re-flipped after lunch to keep it lively.
We had 4 CTP prizes in the AM, 5 in the PM, for those who purchased a CTP Day Pass for ten bucks. PLUS: if their partner also had a CTP Day Pass, they got a disc as a sidecar prize! Bonus.
Almost every player maxed out their mullies via food contributions (9 cans). We have a large pile of food to drop off at the Pratt Food Bank. Give yourselves a quick round of applaus!

On that note, this year we had about 10 fewer players than last year (when it was 8 degrees btw), yet we generated about the same $$$ for the food bank. Another round of applause for yourselves!! I guess the 65 degrees and sunshine scared some folks away?
