THAT was one heck of a good time.

Joe "The Pro" and Cat showed up, all the way from LA - Great seeing you two!
Ken Dog Mathe dusted off his plastic and played for the first time in 2 years. (Aren't you supposed to get rusty after that long? - not Kenny, I guess)
We had a strong turnout of locals, not to mention a few local Tourney Newbs - Thank You for coming out and all your help getting this ready.
Megan, Mom B., Motorcycle Mary and my Mom (Dianna C.) - we couldn't have pulled it off without you; Thanks for cooking, helping out Ryan, and just freezing all day with us.
And Thank You everyone else who showed from near and far for helping make this event a great success.
Lastly, Thank You Ryan! You might be the busiest human I know (that's WITHOUT taking your TD duties in to account) and you still find the time squeeze in all the prep work to make these events possible.

(On a side note : We fished a few discs out of the drink and I have Josh Patton from Wichita's Blue Beast/ashtray. If anyone has his phone number, could you please Message it to me.)

I would love to play a few of the holes on this course minus the howling wind?

Ryan make sure your mom knows that her C and N may be better then her B and G. Her cookies don't suck either.

Thanks for running the event, I am sure the food pantry will be very thankful.

My thanks to the Pratt crew for an awesome event. The bone chilling temps and hurricane force wind made lunch taste that much better. Maybe we can do a Summer charity event on that course and just perhaps my throwing arm will show up. I might as well have thrown with mittens on yesterday.

Thank you everyone for coming out to play in the arctic conditions. Big huge thanks to my friends of the Pratt Disc Golf Club and our families who came together on this. Without you players and our helpers, it'd just be a couple of dudes out there chucking discs in the water. Thank you again for being here!

The gals delivered the mound of food (more than we've ever donated by a long shot BTW) to the food bank during the 2nd round. The staff were astonished. Their shelves were very bare and they sure needed your generous contributions. The Pratt Food bank will also get a fat check (will have to calculate an exact figure and post it ASAP). My mental math tells me it should exceed $500, which would be 6 times our largest cash contribution to them. Give yourselves all a pat on the back for helping to contribute so much!!

We moved 40 of the KDGA Food Drive discs between the player packs and the CTP prizes and sold a handful of additional raffle tickets. This was an awesome mechanism to enhance the ice bowl season's proceeds on behalf of local charities. That was a great idea and I think we should do it again.

12 of us played a round of "gang golf" on the course before we took the baskets back to May Dennis, and the wind was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy calmer. It made for a really good/fun round. If all of our arms weren't about to fall off from the day before I think a few doubles pairs might have thrown in the high 40's. I do like the idea of trying to get the City 'O Pratt to let us have an event in the summer, but with the heavy foot and car traffic I'd be willing to bet it'd take some serious palm greasin' and sweet talkin'. They're pretty protective of that park.

I would have loved to have played the Ice Bowl but I have no thick blood left in me and knew I would have been totally frozen by about hole #3. I know JTP had a great time again playing in Pratt-town.

It was great to see all of you again.

Ryan tell your mom and the other ladies that the food was really great and very warming. Hope to see you all the next time we slide into Pratt but rest assured, it will be unannounced. When you least expect us; expect us.
