Second that. Bill is a great TD. I loved playing the course. The weather was absolutely perfect. A lot of people signed up for KDGA, thanks for coming Mace.
Even with good conditions, the Colwich course didn't give up any great scores. I think -4 won it. Shan Mann made a great run at the lead with a bogey free last round. Travis Blase who made the trip to Colwich all the way from South Dakota ended up winning with a 25' putt on hole 1. His first open win!!

Sorry it took so long to post this but those of you that are married may understand. The conditions were indeed ideal. A light breeze and 65 degrees were similar to last years conditions. The average score for the top 19 pros from each of the last two years is rather remarkable. The red course came out exactly the same 55. The blue course averages out at 57. The new hole, blue 10, upped the anti by 1/4 stroke from a 2.74 to 3.05. Now for the results.
Kudos to Travis Blase from South Dakota for the win, finishing at 4 under.

Thanks Ryan. It is still a diamond in the rough but some of the shine is starting to come through as the tree limbs on the edges of the fairways get a little higher. I still believe in fairway, transitional rough, and rough rough. Just one season of regular mowing has improved the fairways to the benefit of those that roll.
Another thanks go out to all the club members that have pitched in to cut and drag brush and pick up trash and all the other little jobs done over the last couple of months. If I start naming names I will forget someone. You know who you are.
Lastly- thanks to Rodney Dyck for all the help at the tournament which allowed me to play. Don and Robin pitched in also to speed the awards along.

Thanks for the warm welcome, warm weather, and awesome event. I think next year I will drive down for this event and if Wy-Co happens to be on the same weekend we will try to hit that up too.
That was such a fun day, I wish every tourny had that kind of feel to it. Great people, sweet course, and an all around very well run event. Bill, the disc golf world could use a few more guys like you to keep the sport headed in the right direction. Liz and I both agree that you are one of our favorite TD's we have met thus far in our disc golf careers.
Thanks again for the great competition from everyone and I hope to see you all in the near future.
