Right now I know that we have three teams for sure. The team still in question is the team Crispin is bringing. If anyone knows about this team please let me know.
The team Crispin is bringing I believe is complete, he gets back in town Tuesday.

Tull

I had the same concerns as you. I think this idea is only for 5-7 teams. When they get 8 or more they will go head to head. After thinking for a couple of days, I think Nelson has come up with a format that will get more into the finals and have some interesting things playout.

Looking at the example. The parked dude is down to you 2-0. Do you run it and blow past by 100? Or do you give it a 50/50?

After this year, hopefully it will not be an issue. There may be 10 or more teams.

Water and electricity outside the shelter. One power pole down closer to the turn in to the park but no water there.

Looks like we are sitting at 4 teams. All from Region 4!

Hope we get another team or 4 to commit today.

Winfield is camping and I assume Wichita is going home for the night, so that means YOUR TEAM can stay at my place. Hotel leSwede has two couches, one air mattress and lots of floor space.

Let's re-cap, then: it is cheap, it is fun, you get food and a free place to stay.

I've heard Salina thought it was too expensive but had some interest, Kintzel, Ruder, the Snodgrasses all mentioned it would be fun, and Tull is coming all by himself he is so fired up about this. Surely there is a team in there somewhere.

If we get another team, Winfield is camping. If it is a single day event, Winfield will be going home.

Emporia isn't fielding a team? No Salina? No Western Kansas?

The Region 4 team Championships may be the new name. Can Kindy get that trophy changed?

According to Schoeny's points chart, Newton is region 5. We plan on keeping the trophy so it would be silly to put the wrong region on it!

I don't either but Austin S has a shorter drive than Ruder and Randy Brown is lethal in either Open or Masters

Randy Brown frowned when I told him this event was two days. I would be willing to make the trip.
