Four years after the city started letting the grass grow outside of the fairways, we are really starting to see the definition brought out by this plan. Went down there to pick up trash today and everything is nicely mowed. In the eleven years I've been playing this course, I've honestly never seen it look this good.
You'll also be happy to know that those annoying goatheads aren't showing this year, and if you keep it in the short grass, any encounters with the course's notorious sand burrs will likely be minimal. Now should you have to venture out into the tall stuff, well, that's another story.

Directions from the Course (to Bogey's at 1718 N Plum):
Take Emerson Loop back around past the Zoo, the Golf Course, and the Pool to get onto Plum. Continue on Plum. At 4th Street, the intersection curves to the right and then to the left again so be sure to stay on Plum. Continue past the Cosmosphere and HCC to 17th. Just past 17th on Plum you will see Bogey's on your right. Enjoy!
