Im am he was by letting us use his place and was providing the food and drinks. That night was supose to be the last night they where open but the Kansas weather took that away. So the awards will be at the course so lets hope the weather holds.

Me and Jerad noticed the weeds were getting a bit out of control on the 8th fairway, about knee high almost all the way through. We asked the city what they could do about mowing before sunday but they couldn't do anything so we headed up there with a weedeater and knocked it out in a couple of hours. It's still not great but it's as good as a couple high school kids with a weedeater could do on a friday afternoon.

Holy Tornadoes! That might be the first time that I have been running for my life! I lost a red Z Avenger SS and Photon Stratus while running back to the car. The Stratus has Smitty's name on it.

The course was fun, but would have been better to play a month ago when this thing was scheduled, it looked like things had started to creep back in a bit.

I love Colwich! Reminds me of Texas golf every time I play it. I also wish that we could have played the course a month ago. I think that moving the date to the fall would be a good idea. Give that sucker 1 good mowing and trimming in Late Sept. early Aug., then have the event in October.

Wanted to make it, but some work related stuff came up, and whatever interest I still had in going was finished off by the weather.

How many folks showed up and are we gonna get a redo in the fall?
