Man, Ulibarri slipped bigtime shooting a 1023 then a 931!

Jake might get to play with Greg Schwartz.

Feldberg and Nikko are leading it, but I bet one of those two will blow up. Not sure which one though.... :wink:

Some of those guys at the top were tempting picks, but nobody grabbed them. Looks like Climo is working for it.

Par was 57 at Cold Brook with 1000 rated golf at 51. Certainly not as easy as the distances suggest.

I sure hope they put the second round of the women up soon. Des and Burl had bad second rounds and Val has opened up a huge gap over them. I wonder if Liz will jump up to the lead card.

Looks like par was...

66 at Timber Ridge
57 at Cold Brook
59 at Oshtemo

66 at Timber Ridge was rated 971.
57 at Cold Brook was rated 941.
59 at Oshtemo was rated 964.

I think they use advanced rated par so it can work for everyone. Aren't these pro only courses, other than Timber Ridge?

Well a Liz moved up to the lead card, just not our Liz. Looks like Val has a repeat in the bag. That would still be cool if LL could get into the final nine.

An interesting story from Worlds. A 16 year old kid from Connecticut, playing in the MJ1 division has aced...twice. 430 and 298 feet respectively.

Nikko shot a 16 under that round. Par was 59. Rated at 928! I'd say that is too high.

Eric made it up to 8th.
Climo will be on the lead card.

kid finished in the cash at an NT and is playing JUNIORS at Am worlds? that is ridiculous. does a trophy mean that much? at least make it a skill related challenge and play advanced. what do you gain from playing juniors? if he wins, it is the most anticlimactic world title ever. if he loses, it is humiliating. he obviously has the skills to be playing a higher skill level than juniors.

In round 5 Feldberg is TEARING it up! He is -14 through 15 holes, with an Eagle. Click the live scoring link at the PDGA website.

He finished at -15 for that round. That's pretty sick.
