Roger's post on other "string"
E-mail at [email protected] or PM me for further information. If you PM me, please include your e-mail address. We have been working hard on sponsors, courses, etc. and the Doo Dah will be off the hook as a PDGA B tier event, I guarantee it. Come see what the new & improved Doo Dah will be all about. This has been the labor of lots of folks this year & the added resources were desperated needed to pull off what I hope to be the best ever B tier event held in Wichita (OK OK it is probably the 1st but not the last).
I never knew how much work was involved in this stuff until now. Props to anyone who has ever ran or worked on a PDGA event.
Once all the sponsor's donations are in, our TD will let everyone know just how generous they have been.....
stay tuned but mark your calendar you won't want to miss this.
We still need some non-playing volunteers to help us, know any possible volunteers, please contact us. Thanks ROG

New maps on the teepads
Roger and Bill Paulson have been working hard to get the course ready. They are painting maps on the teepads at Oak. We hope to see a lot of people here for the Doo-Dah. Has anyone noticed that Wichita is killi it in all the tournaments this year. Why don't ya'll come check out what we've got goin on here. I already heard a bunch of people, even some women, are coming from KC. Oak Park and hermann Hill are both really great, but challenging courses. We have made a lot of improvements in the past couple of years. See ya'll in a couple of weeks.

Doo Dah Update
The final course improvements (new tee signs, etc.) are coming together due to the primary efforts of Bill & Rog for Oak and Jer & Marcus A. for Herman Hill with help from Two-Away.
Sponsors continue to come in primarily due to the efforts of Rog, Bob, Bill, Jer & Mike Sherwood (with the help of several others I will probably owe an apology to later for forgeting to mention them - bad case of CRS).
We have pre-registrations in from quite a few including an Open Women's player from Columbia, MO and several regional open players.
We also have promises of attendence from the likes of Coda Hatfield from Oklahoma and several of his friends plus more than a few KC area DGer's.
With two great courses, increasing sponsorships, our course amenities and the last weekend of the Wichita Riverfest, this is shaping up to be one great weekend of Disc Golf.
P.S. Don't forget Moonlight Doubles on Friday Night.

She has played several times this last month. This is my last week of Track, so we will be out there more! She has most of her distance back, and her putt is starting to come around.
She isn't going to play a tourney until after school is out. She doesn't want to leave Cameron with a sitter after not seeing him all weekend.
Re: Doo Dah Update
Is this the Gateway girl? Christan (I think)?? If so, maybe she will bring George the Legend and Justin the Kid with her. Justin is on a roll now, and may be one of the top golfers playing at this time.Eaglehigh99 wrote: We have pre-registrations in from quite a few including an Open Women's player from Columbia, MO
That would be fun to watch.
