Observations

Observations that I made this weekend as I walked around and watched the different levels of play. It was fun just to kick back and watch lots of people throw lots of shots, some good and some bad.
Open:
The group doesn't make much noise! There is some talking as they walk and the "good shot" or "nice 2" when they are forced to say it. You can tell what is going on score wise based on body language.
Advanced:
The dudes are always in each others way! It would drive me nuts playing with them! Someone can be looking at a 30 foot putt and the rest of the group will be standing 4 feet from the basket.
Am:
Those people have fun! They laugh and joke most of the time. They are willing to "help" each other out with shot selection. A missed 20 footer that hits chains is no bid deal, but an airball from 50 will send them into a short lived uproar. They are also in the way of each other all the time.
Women:
They never watch their discs to the ground. I watched them search for several discs. They also hate to wait! They may take more strokes then most of the men, but they take way less time between them. I also watched them throw several practice shots during the round?
Some basic rules that I think that few golfer need to learn.
1- When someone is putting or driving, stay behind them and shut your piehole.
2- There is no since in rushing if the group infront of you is slower. When you get a chance to kick back, do it.
3- If you are within 30 feet of the basket, you cannot step beyond your marker when you putt. You have to show control.
4- You must mark your disc in a straight line with the basket. Off to the side is cheating.
5- If a dead tree branch is in you line tough! You can only move it if it effects your stance.
6- You get 1 meter from OB. Even if that 1 meter moves you closet to the basket.
