We are going to be playing both courses from different tees all four rounds!

Oak has just had the full 36 concrete pads completed. On a few, there has been dirt added to get them as flat as possible to ground level. Other course improvements are on schedule to be completed by tourney time.

There is a lot going on that weekend with the River Festival and disc golfers from every which direction. I'm sure Bob will give you all some more information. This should be the biggest and best yet. Don't miss the Doo-Dah!

Different sponsors, etc.

Post by Eaglehigh99 »

Remember, this year is a "B" level tournament which means a higher required $ amount for the players packages and a higher overall % of pay-out. :D

Our fund raising efforts are ahead of where they were last year. We are also working on trying to raise the funds for a Saturday night "get together". No promises yet but, things are looking good. Watch this forum for updates about this.

Each division will play one day at Oak with the other day at Herman Hill. There will be some type of final nine at Herman Hill for the top "pro" men and, if we have enough show up, the top "pro" women. 8) If you haven't seen/played the courses since last October, you'll be surprised and challenged by the improvements.

We will probably have a friday night moonlight doubles at Herman Hill again. Just looking for the needed volunteers. Also hope to have a beginners "seminar" on friday. Again, watch this forum for updates.

Registration, Saturday mornings players meeting and the Sunday pay-out will all be at Herman Hill.

If you haven't been e-mailed a flyer and registration form, please PM me and I will e-mail you one.

Men that register and pay before 5/1/05 will get $5 off; :D women doing the same will get $10 off. 8)

We learned a lot from last year's "C" level tournament and, with the course improvements, look forward to a great "B" level tournament this year. Look forward to having you all here. :)

We have been working hard on sponsors, courses, etc. and the Doo Dah will be off the hook as a PDGA B tier event, I guarantee it. Come see what the new & improved Doo Dah will be all about. This has been the labor of lots of folks this year & the added resources were desperated needed to pull off what I hope to be the best ever B tier event held in Wichita (OK OK it is probably the 1st but not the last).

I never knew how much work was involved in this stuff until now. Props to anyone who has ever ran or worked on a PDGA event.

Once all the sponsor's donations are in, our TD will let everyone know just how generous they have been.....

stay tuned but mark your calendar you won't want to miss this.

We still need some non-playing volunteers to help us, know any possible volunteers, please contact us. Thanks ROG
