For any of you Am players that don't know, Worlds will be in Tulsa next summer. You earn points based on your play this summer. I think that we have several am players who could make some noise.

If you are not a PDGA member, send in your fees. You need to start earning points now, so you don't have to get on the waiting list next summer.

It would be great to see a lot of Kansas Am's participating in the 2006 Worlds. 8)

Now is the time to decide whether or not you want to try to qualify. I went to the 2003 & 2004 World's by getting on the waiting list. I didn't want to worry about 2005 so I went to enough PDGA tournaments to qualify by points for 2005.

If you have never been to a Worlds, you don't know what you have missed. Its great to meet disc golfers from other countries (and states).

P.S. The Tulsa group will be looking for volunteers. I volunteered my time to them before they even made their presentation at the PDGA Summit. If anyone is interested in volunteering, PM me and I can get you some contact names and e-mails.

Count me out.

I will be carring the bag for the future champ in Womens Advanced, if Wife will let me carry the bag.

If Wife won't let you caddy, the future Advanced Grandmasters Champion will (me of course). There you go, you said that we were on the same card in your first "real" tournament. I think you owe me some pointers so I can carry out this "brag".

The first 2 pointer are free.

1) Get rid of the Lightning up shot disc that you use.

2) No MOJO!

Smitty:

Those two pointers should be free because they ain't worth much more than that.

You guys are just jealous that you don't have an old beat up Lightning #3 Hyzer  Not a good driver but, its the most consistent mid-range disc I have in my bag. It throws the same new or beat up. Unless you really screw up into a head wind, it will always do a nice left turn arc. 8) Heck, any disc that helped me win a play-off for a basket against Ron Convers and Mark Martin in 11/03 will stay in my bag. :D

As far as the MoJo, you can't get them anymore (I know... they are now called a JoJo). A great approach putter but, not a putter to use within 30 ft. of the basket unless you just have too. :?

How about some pointers that will help me add some distance to my drives or fix my mental game. 8)

:D Bob said "Jojo". I threw a JuJu once, but it is not nearly as awsome as the JoJo.

Well your distance will never pick up because you have a Lightning disc, and your mental will never be corrected because you refuse to take it out of the bag!
