Ransom and Dodge City weekend

Post by smitty »

Ransom will go down on Saturday the 19th with Dodge on Sunday the 20th.

These will be two seperate events this year. Both are sanctioned as C-tiers. So if your PDGA dues are not current it will cost you an additional $5.00/event. The PDGA is offering a developmental membership this year. If you have never been a PDGA member or haven't been a member for the last 5 years, you can get a 3 month membership for $5.00.

Ransom-

We are going to play the normal layout in Ransom, with the 6 added holes. This may be the last year for the bonus holes. I think that the long and skinny may get tweeked a little this year. We had a couple of 3's last year and we don't want that to happen again.

Dodge City-

If the numbers allow (less then 45 people) we will play the normal DC 9 hole layout. I installed 2 pad on each hole, and if they are still in the ground, that is what we will play. If needed, I will throw out an additional 3 holes and we will play 3 rounds of 12 like we did last year.

Entry fees and divisions:
Open and Masters $30.00
Advanced and Am Masters $25.00
Intermediate, Women and JR. $15.00
Don't forget about the PDGA fee for nonPDGA members $5.00

We will also have custom stamped discs again this year.

Z discs:
Preds, Crushes, Flashes, Flicks, Buzzz, XL

D discs:
Buzzz, Challenger

New this year full color PIMP stamps. These are super sweet!! They are all going to be White on X plastic.
Buzzz, Wasp, XL, XS, and Challenger.

Tell your buddies and start making plans now. Cedar Bluff Lake is 10 miles NE, Hays is 40 minutes, Ness City has a Motel and is 15 minutes away, camping may be avaliable at the course if needed (let me know so I can get the OK).

Good deal on the payout for the discs smitty, those sound super sweet. Is there a new and improved pimpin da holes stamp? If not thats cool too cause I didn't get one from last year.

I plan on takin of that weekend so I should be able to make both tournaments. Will try to bring Regan and Joey and make them compete more this year if I can get them motivated to play.
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

All Am divisions will get either a Pro D Challenger or Pro D Buzzz at sign up, for $5.00 more you can upgrade to Any Z disc that you would like.

The Open and Masters will have the chance to purchace a disc at sign-up for a discount rate. $5.00 for Pro D and $10.00 for Z.

The entry fee will include the Ace Fund. The Ace fund will carry over to Dodge in no Ace is hit in Ransom. Free CTP's for each division each day.

Ransom will feature the all day CTP for a BIG Prize on the tunnel shot. As always it will be for all groups.

This is a great chance for all the AMs in the state to gain some valuable PDGA points. The AM worlds is going to be in Tulsa in 2006! Don't miss your chance to grab some points in your home state.

Spread the word and bring a friend.

I am sure I will have a couple of flashes left.

Send me your address again and I will hold a couple back for you.

We are going to have full color stamps this year also. They should look sweet.
