I it illegal to use a radar detector while speeding in Oklahoma? Or do you just get a bigger fine?

Just kidding Mace but I did a short look up and found this hope it helps. I have and many others have used them I really do not think that a H.P. will decide to give you a ticket or steeper one on the grounds that you might have a radar.

A. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a motor vehicle upon
any public road, street, highway or turnpike of this state when such
vehicle is equipped with any device designed for the purpose of, or
capable of:
1. Jamming or distorting signals emitted by radar; or
2. Transmitting a signal capable of being received by radar.
B. It shall be unlawful to manufacture, advertise for sale, sell or
otherwise distribute any such device in this state.
C. A license issued by the Federal Communications Commission for the
use of such device shall exempt operation of such device from the
provisions of this act.
D. Any person convicted of violating subsection A or B of this section
shall be punished by a fine of not more than Two Hundred Dollars
($200.00).

I got pulled over on my way to Kearney to play disc golf with Rodiek's a couple of months ago. Got a warning for going 72! Then I got pulled over going to my in-laws in Sharon Springs. Got another warning and was going 73. My 7 year old had told me both times I was going over the limit, but I did not listen. I should have and will from now on! I think the HPO's gave warnings cause I had a family!
