8.5 grams per cenimeter of outside diameter

8.3 gm/cm is a density, so their was really only one answer that was possibly correct.

Density would actually be Mass/Volume.

The rule book does say 8.3 g/ cm in outside diameter.

So Don really was not that far off.

I think the Condor was legal to 200 along with the Jaguar. Those discs were HUGE!.

You can't just answer 200g. If that were true, then you could carry a 200g crush, or firebird. Those discs (smaller diameter drivers) are only leagul to 175g! The 8.3g/cm limits the weight compared to it's diameter. Anyway, that's how I read it. Continue to discuss...

So to clarify, if take the 21 cm of a fast drivers diameter (measured across the center), and multiply that by 8.3, you get a little less than 175! So the answer really is based on the diameter. Larger discs up to 40 cm in diameter are allowed to weigh more (up to 200 cm).

You are correct. You can have a heavier disc, if it has a bigger diameter.
Roc and Buzzz are good examples, and more popular than the ones that have been listed.

What make it wrong is the fact that the choice is 8.5 grams, and legal is 8.3 grams.

oops. Now I see what you were sayin...

I was only a "B" student anyway, so 8.3 and 8.5 to me are the same thing... :D
