How much is ONE shot worth to you?

Post by TanK »

To Barry, Its about THIRTY GRAND!!!!

Barry Shultz threw a $30,000 ace!!!!!!!

From the PDGC DISCussion boards:

"I have a feeling Barry is happy to be here for the Texas 10 A-tier. He just aced the $30,000 hole tonight! This is going to be a big weekend.

Sometimes its not just about the money. After 6 years of full time TD'ing this is my farewell. Handing someone a $30,000 check on Sunday night will just add to a great weekend.

Good luck to everyone at your event. Go Yeti! Wish you could be here mate."

I know I've had my shot at the 30 G's, missed it by about 2 ft. one year...
I will tell you this, there is A LOT of pressure on that one shot, TV crew, and about 35 people...
When you get to the hole, you have to fill out a Ins. form, walk to the end of the tee pad, face the camera, and say your name and where your from. Oh and the new thing this year is, you HAVE to be a member of the TX 10 tour to even have a shot at the Ace. You can pay your $25 entry and take your "shot of a lifetime" at the Ace hole if you want.
On the other hand.. It will most likely be hit by someone who doesn't need it, or deserve it.

Not to mention, tee pad being covered in sand, waves from the lake flowing over the top, wind blowing 60 mph, 45 degrees and 90% of the discs thrown at that hole went water bound, good times.

Was that the same hole at Lake Lewisville?

$30,000 ace. Barry is one lucky (good) fellow!
