Disc Golf In The News

Did anyone catch the WIBW Topeka Channel 13 news report about disc golf last night. 10pm sports report. Anchor J.B. Bauersfeld did a nice report on the sport. He interviewed some local players and even demonstrated a nice drive himself. He said he wasn't new to to the sport. He said leagues were Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday at one of the three local courses if anyone wants to come learn more about the sport.
I just happened to be flipping through the channels when I caught it. Anybody know who the local players he interviewed are?
I looked at their website but didn't find the report. Maybe its just not up yet.

Very good for disc golf! I think it was cool that the tv guy actually plays! I don't think the whole thing is on there, but probably most of it. Either that, or my computer messed up! Great job!

I was there that day, damn camera man, if he would of switched to the 2nd group 5 seconds earlier, he would caught me put one in from 100' out.
But you're right, I don't think that was all of it.

My mac must not be displaying it. I don't find featured video's anywhere. Hopefully it'll still be up Monday.

Ah ha! It was my browser. Switched to Firefox and it worked fine. That wasn't the whole report. They talked about leagues and I'm pretty sure they interviewed a girl.

Jb has been playing league with us this year, and we have been hounding him to give Disc golf some air time, he finally did and I think they did a really good job. He interviewed me and Chad ( old timer DDDC member) for a combined total of about 25 minutes. The spot on the 6 news was pretty abreviated but the 10 o clock spot was pretty good, some nice action shots. And they got a great shot of me camera behind the basket running a 60 foot jump putt right into the face mask of the hoop
big props to 13 news and JB for sure.
