For those of you that don't know. To host a PDGA event, you most be a current member ($50.00 for me), you must pass a rules test ($10.00), and you must pay a PDGA sanctioning agreement.
Here are the fees for this year.
D-tier $25.00
C-tier $50.00
B-tier $75.00
A-tier $100.00
Plus you must send the PDGA $/person after the event
$2.00 for C and D tier
$3.00 for B tier
$4.00 for A tier

The $ after the event is per person, right?

Yep, thanks Don. I fixed it up above.
So lets say that you do a KDGA/PDGA event.
C-tier
After all is said and done, you will have to take $4.00 out of each entry.

Thought about it. I even became a PDGA official! But I just don't want to tell the casual golfers that we get that they have to pay extra to play. I'll still think about it though.

They don't have to pay extra if you do a D-tier.
It would be right up your alley. You would get player rating and the works.

i was going to get certified and sanction ponca but with a penalty for both non kdga and pdga members it didnt seem like the best of ideas. it also looks like sanctioning fees have gone up a good bit.
