I would like to give a huge thanks to Friz-Rocker and that whole crew for helping me out to identify the jackass that ran into my car Sunday afternoon.
From what the officer said the guy driving the truck was arrested for DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, and one other violation.
Anyway thanks for the great tourney and thanks to all the great people for being on their toes to catch a jackass!!!

Great and Awesome Tournament Brett and crew. The Rain wasn't that bad. It beat the 100+ temps we had all summer long. Besides everyone has the same conditions to play in so it's fair. And also, this state needs way more rain than it's getting. Small sacrifice to pay.
Thanks to DM4 and Steve Hardyman for the good competition. You couldn't ask for two better guys to play with. That is by far the best I've ever played at Hays. That course usually eats my lunch but I feel I got the better of it this time.
Congrats to Brett on his award. You earned it. All your hard work is why most of us can say that we are proud to be disc golfers in the state of Kansas. Keep up the good work.

Pat, Earl could not play on Sunday. He felt too tired and couldn't muster up any energy. If he could have I think he may have been able to pull out a win. Everything was in his favor for sunday.

The results are up on the PDGA page. Sorry it took so long but when I cut and pasted it last night I didn't include the header and thus it was shorting us one player.
Here are a few things I think I'll change for next year. Hole # 14 needs a drop zone when the basket is in the alternate position. This way if someone goes OB on the bridge or in big creek they will have a fair open shot. Hole 14 will also have a distinct OB line on both sides of big creek.
In the booklet I didn't have the pavilion on hole 15 marked as OB and clearly it should be. Did anyone else catch any mistakes in the booklet? If we have time next year we will try to have the distances marked on the tee signs, but we're suppose to have new tee signs for the concrete pads and replace the signs on the asphalt pads so I may only need to indicate it on the temp holes

You are your own worst critic Str8. The encouragement of criticism, though, seperates you from the flock. I have every faith that the Frontier will grow to it's true potential someday and you have been the man driving this.
I'd have to agree with that already expressed. I landed on the bridge on 14 (somehow?) and got a much worse lie that that I had on top of the bridge. 15's orig. tee would be great for a drop zone. Yeah, the pavillion should be marked on 15.
Sand under swingset might be a little hard to judge. There is also sand under swingset on 7 long, but that one played safe.
Maybe a little refreshing on the current rules... If you are touching the white chalk line, but not touching the in bounds side... your disc is OB. I told somebody wrong on this one. If you throw OB and you are in a worse spot from 1 meter in bounds than where your last shot was, just throw from your last shot with one penalty stroke.
A few hole distances that might be confirmed or double-checked. Here is one that may be just a matter of elevation measure with the rolling wheel...
*Hole D seems shorter than 350 considering one must throw uphill and players were still throwing long into a headwind.
A few others seems to be quite a bit different than listed...
*Hole 16 is read 230 from B-O and 270 from A-O. Seems these two should be switched? Could be the elevation difference, but not sure.
*Hole 7 long pad to short seemed longer than 409.
*Hole 15 B-O at 362 seemed quite long while B-A at 404 seemed a bit short.
The other thing that might be more important is that the hole distances page lists tees as A and B with pins being O (Original) and A (Alternate). The course map on the previous pag lists the pins in terms of A and B, which confuses them with the tee listings. It looks as though the B for the pin settings refers to the alternate pins(A), while the A settings refer to the original pins(O), which sort of further confuses things for those who don't know the course.
Going with OB across asphalt where holes do not cross asphalt roads while considering across asphalt safe where holes do cross asphalt should be the way to go next year. I played safe on hole 3 A-O playing to the level area with no trees by crossing the asphalt with a hyzer drive. Everyone else 4'd that hole due to a tougher aproach.
Mandos might be eliminated on holes 2 and D. Lefty routes are scarce and safety probably isn't an issue (due to elevation) on either of these holes.
With all that, I would say that for every amount of negative critisism, I would give 10 times in positive critisism for the excellent course design, format to get everyone home in time for work Monday, and including a great mix of holes to play on. Each course gave numberous opportunities for a 2, yet had holes that were pretty much par 4, with the toughest being the last.

That's good feedback there Mike, we can add and change the map however is most viewer friendly. I know the course like the back of my hand, I need to see it from anothers perspective. O for original tee and pin, and A for alt tee and pin would be a much simpler map.
I've also thought of adding alt tees for the temp holes, but the space is tight, and it's also the only six holes you get to play three times.
