Oh yeah, it's raining. The entire first round, but not too much of the second. Forcast looks clear tommorow so far. We're playing from the concrete tees, so it won't be so bad.

However, our card did have an awesome time and it was cool to see Smitty hit an ace 45 minutes into the tournament. Oh yea, and Disc Diva can BOMB

Very well-run.

My game was comatose, my feet were soaked, hands waterlogged, but I didn't care -- I still had a blast. Now that's gotta be a great tournament.

Day 2's weather was purly impeccible. Partly cloudy, moderate breeze, mild temperatures and NO RAIN! Couldn't have asked for a better setting. I'd do it again even if it meant being a rain sponge again.

I loved every single hole, and I'd love to see A-F with collars & at least dirt pads for future use. They're perfect.

That was a great time! The course was in fantastic shape. The format was killer. Literally with 8 hours of golf on Saturday, but this was due mostly to the rain. Sunday was beautiful.

I can't tell you about too many holes that I purely parked, but I could tell you many that were laughable, including throwing over the bridge on the mando hole and hitting the bridge on the approach. The course always leaves me wanting some revenge. I know that if I played it more, hitting the best lines would be much easier.

Props to Smitty for cashing big despite a small field. Extra props to Tracy and Beisner for stepping up this weekend. Scooba Steve showed incredible accuracy and great putting this weekend to shoot under par. I also think Robin shot some incredible golf this weekend. 247 in the rain on a course with plenty of length and OB was pretty impressive. I guess she is a seasoned veteran after 6 hot rounds at Am Worlds.

Great job to Claudio for getting the title sponsor and hitting an ace! The sponsorship level for this tourney was one of the best I've ever seen for a B tier. I commend Str8 for putting it all together and TD'ing for us this year. He won the Ron Rice award this year and deservingly so. Don't take the limited field of 72 to hard as I'm sure this was due to the nasty weather.

Again, thanks to the Hays crew. You guys are a lot of fun. See you all at the Friz.

Big thanks to everyone who made the trip to the 22nd Annual. I have a new respect for TD's at large tournaments. My horns were a little green, but I gave it my best. I know there are some things that could be done better and I will work on that. As always your critique is not only welcomed, but encouraged. Feel free to post your feedback here.

Mark the drop zones and temp tees better.. that's it for my critique, everything else was awesome. I know you used chalk lines to mark a lot of that stuff and the rain screwed that up so I suppose you could say that annoyance was caused by Mother Nature. Rain, what rain, I posted my best score during the rain.

Brett... you are the muffugin man....!!! What a great event. Take a lok at my score and you will know how much I love that course and how much fun I have coming to Hays for the Frontier Open. You can't play that badly and still come away feeling great if you have a bad time. See you next year come hell or high water.

Claudio!!! Thanks for retreiving my disc and all the others you pulled out. Friday doubles was a blast with you the birthday boy Travis on the card. Your good Kharma definitely earned you that ace, not to mention the fine shot.

Congrats to Brett for the Ron Rice award, well deserved!!!

Now if I could just learn to behave myself on Saturday night I might be able actually post a decent score out there.... naw.... I like going for the most fun award.... ... even though I vote that we award it to Dusty Ream this year.... the phone on the roof was classic.....
