Thanks to the Nebraska crowd for running a great tourney. I had a good time every round. I had some decent cards; can't say that I played with anyone over the weekend that wasnt cool to shoot some golf with. Great playin with Robert and Tracy for 2 rounds; that was some fun golf. Congrats on qualifying guys!

Congrats on the win Nate. It was a nice comeback along with a sweet putt in the playoff.
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

Thanks y'all for stopping by and playing some great golf. McCabe with a 46 in round 3 and 46 in round four made a big come back.

Congrats Smitty!

Ruder, Nate, what happened in the playoff, I didn't get to hear the story.

We both had decent drives; I hit a long putt for 2 and Tracy's putt hit and came out. We were joking around about making it an eight hole playoff on the way out. But the way the wind was picking up and the temp dropping I am glad it didnt.

Chiz-

When are you going to send the results to the PDGA? I want to see what all of my rounds rated. SSA is -7 on both courses correct?

This year, the West course was definitely more difficult than it was last year. I would say it played 2 or 3 strokes harder! The SSA should definitely be different this year on that side!

The only hole that was different was 2 after the Monster 7? It may have played a stroke harder. The rest were pretty much the exact same. 11 was different, and maybe a little harder. You may be right.

I think that we should play all 27 on the East side next year. They look pretty kick butt! Then play 9 holes on the West side. Just make some kick arse "golf" type holes. Where you have to put your drive in a good spot, to be able to go at the green for even a 3.

For example. The hole just before the Dike shot. Play from that tee to the dike basket. You would have to put your first drive somplace safe in order to get it up to the green for a 3.

Play from 17 teepad to 18 basket.

I think I may have my east and west confused. Actually, both courses played a bit harder, but the course that starts you out on #10 (west or east??) is the course I was talking about... it's the permanant one. It was for sure harder.

#10 - harder tee spot making sharper hyzer
#12 - anhyzer instead of easy hyzer deuce
#15 - long straight shot instead of easy hyzer
#16 - way harder
#17 - longer pin placement
#26 - longer pin placement

Those holes played at least a half stroke harder (on average) I would say. That is 3 strokes!

The temp course on the other side played maybe 1 or 2 strokes harder.... not much change though, but for sure harder. #7 through the trees (you guys hated it) was for sure harder by being longer! Then, they changed the tee spot for the tennis court hole (#11) to under the cedar trees. It no longer was a gimme deuce like it was last year.

All in all, I would say each day's worth of play was 4-5 strokes more difficult than it was last year.

I think Jon is about right on the holes. #10 on the west is now a probable par from a probable deuce hole. Both the tee and pin are changed.

#12 can be a deuce if you have a predicatable turnover and a cooperative wind.

#16 is FINALLY back in the corner to make it a probable par hole from a easy deuce hole.

#17 is reachable but not a gimme.

#26 was trimmed up to make the shot between the tree and the creek more of a tempt. That used to be the route of choice. The long placement is still tough to reach consistently with either route.

Overall, the scores were a touch higher on Sunday than on Saturday. I'm judging by the fact that more people plunked it on #18 east on Sunday than they did on Saturday.

Chiz will get the scores in well ahead of the deadline for the next update.

Again, good shooting fellas.

West is the real course and east is the temp. course. Correct?

He should use the online TD report. It is the BOMB!! The scores would be on the tour link instantly.
