Great going Eric!!

Top 10 finish tied with 2 of 3 past champions. That was a HUGE comeback.

This seems to be just the best tournament out there, period. Payout, pro level course challenge, website and superior organization...

Way to represent KS Emac & Babbit! 8)

Hat's off to Eric. He played like a super stud the last three days. For myself, I had the best tournament yet. The USDGC seems to get better each year. It is truly the world's greatest disc golf event.

Other than the cash, the biggest bonus Eric has is not having to qualify for the USDGC next year. He is automatically in. Don't forget to send in your entry early next year Eric. :)

While I have some audience, I would like to thank my little brother for caddying all week and hanging out. How bad ass is that. Thanks also to David Hemmeline for staying with my bro and I and playing some solid golf. We had a great time. David I think has a new vision of golf after this event. Playing courses here will seem like tiddly winks.

It would be cool to hear some of the ups and downs of playing a course of that level of difficulty. Who did you play with?

What was the par 3 challenge? What else of interest went down besides the main event?

Does anyone know the main reason why this event has only 1 division? Is it because the course is geared towards top pros? It would seem not as state reps of any rating and even qualified women are encouraged to play.

Par 3 challenge was for people not in the usdgc. I read about it. It was bring your partner dubs on a nearby course (please correct me if I am wrong...)

I think you are right, this tourney is geared towards the top pros. It is getting better each year and I believe it is the start of something big. Isn't the Players Cup similar to this (one division)? Are there others?

I also would like to hear more of the commentary from McCabe and KevinBabbit on what it was like to play this tourney. Tank, feel free to chime in also! I admire all of you guys just for qualifying!

I listened to live coverage on usdgc.com on Saturday, when i should have been at the homecoming game at Bethany (got to see the 2nd half). It was great to hear Brian Mace give comments on what was going on, live. And they showed you where the shots were landing with different collored dots! It was very cool! Live tv coverage would have been better. Maybe someday, but this was good! Not as good, but good! Way better than just "live scoring"....

I was away from the computer all weekend. Eric told me late Saturday how well he did. What a killer finish. Name another tourney were you can be that far down the list after the first round and make it back to the top 10.

Great shooting Kevin. 4 1000+ rated rounds and 23. With a $1,000 payday. Sweet!!!!

Amazing.

My picks

1. Schultz 1
2. Schweberger 2
3. Climo 8
4. Doss 14
5. Anthon 4

McCabe 14th 8 (Glad I was wrong!)
Babbit within 4 Within 10,

I did pretty decent. Next year I'll make real bets, I'll have to make sure Eric goes in my top 5.
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

Well, I know for me, it was my 3rd year there, so I kinda knew what to expect. It IS the biggest event out there, and it takes about 50 people helping out to run smoothly, so you have to respect anyone who helps out and doesn't play. Every year it gets bigger and bigger. You wouldn't believe how many people show up just to watch this event....Pretty sweet. I know I will go back every year I can.

Another event that is going to be HUGE is the Players Cup. This event is on the PDGA Tour as a Major this year(Nov. 11th) and if your qualified for it, you should go. I know Chad and I had a good time last year, the course is on a ball golf course, with lots fun stuff to do after your round..like swiming with Manatees, going to the beach, only a 5 min. drive....not to mention you in Florida in NOV!!!!

Now you don't need to sell all of your discs on ebay!!!

Well, it's a 1 division tournament because it's the PROS US Open, The women had their USWDGC bout a month ago, and the AMs had their USADGC bout a month before that.
Why would you say that Women and State reps are not encouraged to play? If they didn't want them to play, they wouldn't let them...imo

I said that they were encouraged to play.

But, what you said made sense. It is the (PRO) USDGC.
