Mace is very fair and consistant in the way he does business. I'm sure he can explain any questions you might have for him.

No denying that. By no means am I accusing anyone of being unfair, just curious if somebody had made a donation or something of that nature.

On the masters and advanced masters. That does look a little strang just looking at it. Here is the deal. If you added up the total payout it makes more sence.
Open/ Masters paid $65 subtract out PDGA and KDGA fees ($5 total) equaling $60.

Open
$600 + $400 added cash = 60 X 10 = $1000

Masters
$780 + $300 added cash = 60 X 10 = $1080

I use the PDGA payout program and it does all the figuring for me including rounding to the nearest $5. Total payout are once in a while $5 short or long and in this case, short in the open and long in the masters all washing out. If you do the same for the advanced and advanced masters using $50-$5(fees) you will find the more players was the reason it looks strange. On the adv and adv masters $100 was added to each division. Just with $100 added on advanced spread out to more places paid the payout looks smaller but it is not. This should answer the questions.

Okay,

We asked for feedback so we can evaluate the success of our campaign. here were the suggestions I heard over the weekend:

1. More water coolers on the course and to refill them between rounds.
2. The distance of holes in booklet and tee signs. (still need both tees to alt pin)
3. Color code the courses on the tee signs and booklet.

Since A1 Plank was a sponsor this year and Claudio and Jose both work out there, I thought about asking for a temp bridge for hole 16. I think this may help with the flow.

If you have any other feedback or constructive criticism for the format, please post it while it is still fresh in your memory. I will email and call Jeff Boyle everyday until he replaces the asphalt tees.

Thanks,

Str8

I was tellin my wife about the tourney Sun. night, before I tucked the kids in. Just before I left the room, I go "oh, and I got to see 'Boobs' this weekend", and walked out. Now remember, she is a redhead!

I come back a few minutes later and start yackin away. :P

She says "were they real, or pictures"? Her face was red and she was standing very close to the knife drawer.

I said "real". 8)

Her blood began to boil, I could just see it. So I told her about "Boobs". 8)

She still about killed me, but it was fun!

windy ratings

Post by bigchiz »

I could be wrong, but when the rating evals are done next week the round ratings could be re-evaluated.

When a TD posts scores on the PDGA web site they also get to post an estimated SSA, and I thought that was just temporary until the "official" round ratings are calculated. Whomever posted the scores probably posted an SSA from a previous and not so windy tournament. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

So the round rating do involve using an SSA!

I've been told that the only thing that's needed is the player ratings of those playing the round. Total ratings would always come out to be the same this way. This makes about as much sense as @#$%!!!

Anyone know where the basic rating info. is located? I might re-read that before I formulate specific questions.

Those Hays round ratings were quite low.
