I've heard about the length and elevation, but...


How did the park use the trees? Was it like ball golf with the trees lining the fairways, or did they have some in the fairways? Where there any really cool or tricky greens? Any chances of shortcutting a dogleg, or where the doglegs mandatory?

The trees were most definitely in the fairways. I'd also say that about 80% of the "greens" were on the side of a hill, could be "rollaway" heaven! No Mandos, and yes on hole 9's dogleg, you can cut in early, but you must avoid a sheet load of trees!
After they put in tee pads, and take a bulldozer through a few of the trees, this course will be bad ass!!

It's some outrageous golf.
I have played the C tees and C pins at Cunningham, and Blue Valley is bigger than that. :o Just not nearly as harsh!
