They were a great group of guys. They would have done anything for another golfer!! I'll never forget one time when I first started playen golf...and someone stole my golf bag out of my truck. I went to league the next day and told everybody what happened. About 3 days later Mark Foltz, Irez, and Stoney, all showed up at my house....with all my discs! They found the guy that stole it and got all my plastic back.

Also, I know you wernt refering to me Leo....I was just trying to set Captin crap right!!

Those guys were definatly something else. You never knew what was going to happen moment to moment. I remember one day I thought mark was gonna beat the shizzle out of TY. Seems to me Ty threw a water bottle in anger (not TY) and almost hit Marks kid. I remember thinking Poor lawyer boy this can not end well...

Then I got to see Don square up and get in Laron's face and again I think this will not end well for the Gymnast.

Come to think about it E-town has been the only place I have witnessed near fights on the golf course...

Leo D., the wink icon at the end of my post means that what I just posted in that paragraph was intended to be a joke. Perhaps I should have used the large smiley face, or even the lol smiley. My mistake.

I owe you a buck (Chad too). It might take me a while to get used to this kind of tradition, especially when no one else in the group is handing out money.

To Chad and Leo's credit...

Chad talked about paying a buck after Leo hit and then being square after Chad hit, but I did not know what you were talkin about. Sorry. I have not been around that much to see a lot of this kind of thing. I was really thinking they had some kind of bet going or something. Now I know.

Don, first off, I am not mad nor pissed off about that. You don't owe me anything, especially when you didn't even know what it was. I just wanted to bring the topic to full circle. And 51 is by no means a "Mandotory thing". If you want in, its easy, use common courtesy and pay when you see. The hard part about the whole topic is that it depends on trust. And you and I both know, trust is very hard to come by in todays age.
BTW Don, welcome to the world of open classification!!!

My concern has always been, at my skill level, I would always be paying and never getting paid. But I'm going on the record and saying I'm on board for 51! Now I won't hit another basket for a year!

The thing about playing for money is an interesting concept in general. I have always viewed it as more of a learning thing. Most of the casual rounds I play are still for skins and low. If I loose and I have to pay I have learned something. If I win and get paid I like to think that someone else learned something. The interesting paradox in this is that the lessons you pay for are always more highly regarded than the lessons you get for free.

As far as 51 goes... You are paying or getting paid for the show. :D

Got my first pay in today. Hammer hit basket on 13 East. We all swore it was going in, but too bad for him!
