Looks like I can't make it. Too bad! I wanted to see these courses. Keep us posted on the turnout / results and I'll try to make it next year. Have fun all.

Thanks to Chad, Tracy and Dusty for coming up from Hays for Sunday's Watch Your Step Open. The morning round went well and then the wind blew like a "Muther" and made for some interesting golf in the afternoon.
Also thanks to Adam for coming up from Beloit. Kansas golfers are good people.

Chad - Tracy has an envelope for you.

Anytime, I feel pretty priveleged to play your course. It is definately championship caliber. Can't wait to get some revenge on it too!!!
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

Holdredge

Post by DustyRhyno »

The Holdredge course went in about 2 years ago. It is a fun little 9 with multiple pin placements. I kinda forget about it. I should get down and play it again one of these days.

Scores

Post by DustyRhyno »

Scores are posted on nebdisc.com.
Highlights from the weekend included great courses and Wind.

My highlight from Saturday was watching Jake, with 3 holes to play, make a 35' putt into a headwind to save a circle 3 and on the very next hole park his tee shot, (485' downhill). With that strong finish he placed 2nd in Advanced.

On Sunday it was so windy that I saw Open players getting negative yardage on a few shots. Thats entertaining.
