I had ordered 50 custom ESP Surges for the tournament, Keith called me earlier and said they were out of stock, what a bummer!! The discs will be sent out tomorrow, can't wait to see how they turned out.
Yes, it is the same as the poster. You'll get a 4 1/2"color one in your player's package and we will have some hot stamped line art discs for sale too. Also, we have had a traditional hold-em tournament at my house the last two years late Saturday night if anyone is interested.
We will use 4 of the temp holes we used last year, and we will have 2 new ones. I think they're good holes and should help with the flow of the rounds. The 2 new holes come into the round after hole 6. You will then walk across the bridge and play 2 holes on the west side along the dike. One hole will be a blind shot teeing off close to Elm Street shooting over the dike down to the pin 40 ft from big creek, about a 350 ft hole. There will be a mando to the right of one tree. The next hole will tee from a plateua area 10ft below the dike on a level suface shooting down to a pin on the other side of main st bridge. We're debating whether or not to mando it under the bridge. It's about 260, and was challenging to play when T-rude and I tested it. They will be birdieable holes, however there will be high risks too.
Mandos often add to extra problems. The only real reason for a Mando is to keep the course safe. I think that under the bridge could be a safety issue.

Throwing over main street could incite some problems, but maybe not.
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.
I don't know what the shot looks like. If the over the street is the easier shot, you know that people are going to be taking it all day long. It only takes one shot off of a windshield or the side of a car to cause some big problems.
I think that if the first Mando keeps you off a tee, that is important. If it isn't hard to make the mando, even better.
As far as the bridge goes.
I think that I know where the basket is going to go. I have looked down at the little area 10000 times as I walked over the bridge. If people are going to be throwing over the bridge, I think that a mando might be needed, unless you are going to block off Main St.
I think a few newbie ICT members will be coming with me also. Tell W they will be staying at a hotel, but I'll still stay with him at his Gr-parents, if that 's cool.
