I am suprised to se DDDC involved on this thread when I asked Bruce about the Waka his comment was that the money he and Clark were getting was going to Hal baby for the teams event this year. None of that cash is ear marked for the DDDC.

Does this REALLY surprise you?

If they were operating as the DDDC it seems to me the members of the club should have some say in where that money goes. Otherwise, It's not a club.

That may explain the lack of Mighty Shunga Nunga talk though........

I am sending in my test to become a certified official. I will send in the sanctioning agrement for the shunga next week so we can have a date for the event. B tier even if I have to kick in the 75.00 to get it sanctioned.

I am starting to agree with Leo... there are a lot of people around town that think shunga just happens. The reality is that if Bruce does not want to do it then somebody has to step up or it just wont get done. I am trying to get things together so we can put on an event and No one else from Topeka has stepped up with any help.

BTW, wasn't it last year, Me, Heddy, Bruce, and a EMPORIA golfer there before the tourny setting up the courses??? So direct your statement clearly please!!!

I am not tring to bag on anyone I know a lot of work has been done by many in the past. Todd has moved and set up baskets by himself more than a few times for shunga park. I know that people will chip in and do those things it is just frustrating when no one wants to step up and commit to doing something.

Especially the people that play the event and wont help but will not hesitate to bit@H about the way things are done.
