One last thing.

I think that you should trim the tree in the middle of hole 8's fairway. The only good shot is a spike hyzer. I would not even think about throwing straight at it in tourney play.

Alright, not sure if they'll let us trim that tree legally, that person's house always calls the cops on us, so im gonna have to go covert and do it one of these nights on my own.

You played that tree correctly as a mando, since we havent gotten it marked yet... were doing that so we stay away from 7's teepad.

Thanks for taking the first ace, prick, im gonna act like I didnt read that.

I'll tell the city your compliments on there portajons being supplied with a sufficient amount of TP.

Do you need me to come and take care of that branch? I am sure I can get my hands on a chainsaw if needed.

Trim the tree

Post by Shagen Wagon »

Thanks for all of the comments. We do value them. I will go to the neighbors and see if they will let me trim that tree a bit. Just a little off the side. Grant - I think I will mark the alternate holes with a 4 x 4 post and paint "A1" for alternate tee for hole one - etc. Next time you all come to play we can mark nine alternates.
Our Rec commission is setting up classes for the locals to learn the game. How COOL is that. We have a great community.

One of these days I'm just going to go and master hole 9. I've played that course like 10 times, and I still have only curved it right back in that area once. And I will break even, one of these days...

Play it in Reverse!

Close to basket 1 to basket 9 would be a good hole.
Close to basket 8 to 7 would be super hard.

As many people as you are going to have out there at one time, I don't think that it would be a big deal at all. They did it at Cherry Street forever.
