tournament prices

Post by superq »

I got my renewal form from the PDGA yesterday and I seem to remember there was a page they sent with suggested prices for entry fee's.

I will have to grab the numbers tonight to post them but I think that the KDGA should really try to follow the price structure that the governing body has laid out.

If the PDGA has taken the time to set a structure on what we should pay for entry to go along with the suggestions for what payout should be.

I know that I am not a member of the KDGA but I think it would be a good idea to consider setting standard entry prices and not leaving it up to the TD.

I have always agreed with the structured prices also but some tournaments have different variables and have to have different prices. There could possible be Tier'd levels of structured prices. Such as PDGA events have a set entry fee, one day events have a set entry fee....something like that

finaly something that makes sense from acros the pond...

I do like that idea. I know for me when I think about hitting a tourney that is not PDGA sanctioned If it is more than like 30 for a 1 day I will usually pass. Same way if it is more than 40 or 45 for a two day. Now there are exceptions. A good players pack and or a meal might encourage a little more payment. But to all you TD's out there. I would not consider a bag of freebies from the chamber of commerse and a disc golf coozie much of a player pack. 8)

we need plastic
