Ok, now you've done it. You cannot dis the pegasus. Someone with some real power can really put it to good use. (i.e. Laron Harris). I still like it for short chip shots where no skip is needed.

I have to somewhat agree with Kev. In its day the Peg had a place. Now it has gone the way of the Eagle. There is just better technology and more versitale discs that serve the same function and others as well.

We all know that just becuase they no longer make a disc has nothing to do with the performance. They stopped making the roc in san marino then stoped making it in ontario... The thing that sucks is that disc golf is so spread out that based on geographical condition a disc may not sell well.

For example I think Eric posted somewhere that the Pred is not as popular in florida. If you think about it there is a lot less high wind situations in florida and california compared to say western kansas and oklahoma. Now consider how many folks are buying golf discs in florida and cally compared to kansas and oklahoma... It is not indicitave of a golf discs usefulness in a certain situation.

The point is that majority rules and If a model does not sell it will dissapear.

Ok I still stand by my assesment. If you live in an area that has stronger sustained wind you will be more inclined to buy and use more stable discs. If you live in an area where a majority of the courses you play are deeply wooded with shorter holes you will buy and use more straight flying drivers and midrange discs.

And if you live in Emporia you will most likely buy and throw Discraft...

Gotta go with the percentages there.
