I was just thinking that people would be more inclined to guess 2 than 6. Looks like I may be wrong.

The way it is written, it makes me think Iqbal's shot (drive) lands under the basket. But, Iqbal cans his birdie putt from Tom V's lie.
The other way of looking at it is that he makes a 3 from Tom V's lie.
Either way, add 2 strokes to his score as played from Tom V's lie.

Anyone who plays long enough will end up sharing the same lie as they drive or approach to the exact same spot.In these cases we ended up marking our shots one after another.
When you have to choose between your woman and discgolf,don`t be stupid-choose the discgolf.

A player playing from another players lie should be given 2 strokes without warning. No shots are replayed.
So the "2nd" shot would count. The putt would count. That 3 + 2 or 5 strokes.
Way to go Iqbal.

I think I should just start playing from OTHER people's lies then. It would probably lower my scores!
