The event that was scheduled for ARK CITY has been canceled. Please let people in your part of the state know.

Yeah Paul.. they basically just had a meeting a while back about whether or not they wanted a tournament there, and decided against it, even though the tournament was going to raise at least $100 for the camp.

I am not sure why, but that was their decision.

My best guess would be that it goes back to this summer. About 15 of us showed up to play the second round of our mini. We didn't have there OK. They were at the end of a camp, and we decided to go ahead and play. Some of the people that were playing had beer. When they asked us to leave, some people got pretty hostile with them.

If I was running a church camp, and several people showed up drinking, smoking pot and yelling obscene words. I would be a little upset too.

Bottom line, we should not have went out there with out calling and asking.

Just my guess.

yeah i remember the guy who lives there talking about that. too bad that happend, maybe next year they'll reconsider.
