Disc Golf in Valley Center, Ks

I read in the Beacon that there trying to get an O.K. to install 9 hole's in there Park?? Bill Paulson, have you heard anything about this???

Bill was trying to run a mini out there, but the city wanted to take care of any liability issues before any discin happpens.

Has anyone else been to the park in question? I heard Bill wanted to set up 18, but the map only showed room for 9?

Yes it is true, the city wants to put in a disc golf course. Remember Olathe in the early years with no trees. Quite possibly this will be the case but there is some excellent elevation change possible. Unfortunately, there is probably only room for 9 holes. The part of the park that was originally proposed had so many people out enjoying the park that a course in the proposed location would have been unplayable the day I visited. This is still probably a year away as they are still gathering funds from the local businesses.
