I will put up a CTP each round, if I can have hole 5.

Sounds good... I am sure Tracy wouldn't mind winning another 50 bones this year!

That's cool, I understand the first part, but what do you mean when you say if I can have hole 5?

I want to give my CTP's away on hole 5. That way everyone can have a chance to win.

Okay that makes sense. It's cool with me if it's cool with Mace.

Will hole 5 be aced? I got 2 to 1 odds against.

Playing 3 rounds of 24 holes seems to be a great compromise of mostly traditional with a little new. Way to come up with a good solution, guys. I'm sure some people will appreciate leaving at a decent hour.

Know what configs. for the regular 18 we will play yet? How about original to original, alternates to original, and alternates to alternates? Where are the new holes going to fit in?

(Don't really need to know. Just like to ruin a good surprise!)

Mike,

Three temps will be before hole 1, two will be after hole 12, one will be after hole 16. That should give you just enough information to keep you from sleeping at night, but not too much to ruin a good suprise.

Mace,

What's the turnaround time with Discraft and Innova? Did you find anything out regarding the deadline for stamps? Why isn't the Frontier listed on the PDGA page yet, I thought you'd taken care of that? Git R Dun!!!

Got to love the edit button, the Frontier Open is listed on the events page!!! Sorry Mace. Smitty, what the hell were you talking about?

The info is posted on the DISCussion board on the PDGA site, let's do our best to keep it at the top. Tell the people what you think about our tournament if you played it last year.

Thanks,

I was thinking about a course setting comparison today for Frontier Park. I was trying to visualize all of the tees and pins for each hole. I got it all except hole # 7.

The regular pin placement is like 60 feet from the dike. Where is the pin for the alternate placement?

I know there are 3 tees for this hole. The long bomber is original and the pole pad is new. What about the tee on the dike?

Some people thought the pad with the telephone pole in front of it was no good. With all the trees to confront not too far from the pad and several choices of route, I think the hole is alright.

Just wondering which of the 3 pads is considered the original and which is considered the alternate.

Does anyone have a map with distances on a computer file?

Hole #7 is a shorty Mike. From the original tee (which I consider the shorter one of the two asphalt tees) its an easy flick only bout 180-200ft in between two trees that guard the unit pretty well. From the concrete alt. I play a huge knife hyzer. Your right about that hole it has many options.

Bowling for birdies...I think I got it... so the pole pad is the alternate and the dike shot is the original. What about the pin placement? Did you say the alternate placement was short of the original? I can't remember on this hole.

BOWLING FOR BIRDIES!!!! You got it Mikey!!!

Way short of the original like 80-100 ft I'd say. Directly between two trees. Its really a pretty cool placement cuz you can be 15 feet out behind either tree and not have a putt.
