That's a fun basket to ace. Tight anhyzer/hyzer. I've hit one practice ace and one league ace, and I've seen it aced by others twice. Chad Gasper both times I think.

One of the kids that plays disc golf (Andrew) handed me a disc the other day and asked me if I knew the guy that owned it (it was the kid that hit the ace on four awhile back). I said I sure do! So he gave it to me to give to Randy Mattingly! It's a Food Drive Buzzz, if you were wondering. I will bring it to the Doo Dah!

Andrew also found a C Wraith that belongs to Chad Gasper and returned it as well! That disc did not even have Chads name on it, but Andrew knew it was his! I think that is very cool! :D

Course was fairly green and looks good since they just mowed. Thanks to the Norton City crews for keeping the park looking nice!

Some of you know that I hurt my hand a few weeks back. It turned black and blue for about a week, and now there are some bumps, but no big deal. Not much pain, unless I bump it. Well, I was shaking hands at Church Sunday and there was this terrible pain that lasted for about 30 seconds, and then went away. The guy was kind of surprised when I yanked my hand away from his grip and started jumping up and down, tears forming in my eyes. I decided to go have an X-Ray done on it just to make sure it was not broken or cracked.

One of the bones is cracked! The good news is I don't have to get a cast if it does not get any worse. No more high fives or shaking hands, but disc golf is fine. I am kind of surprised disc golf does not hurt it, but it doesn't. I have played a lot lately and no pain from throwing. We will see if I can keep from making it worse.

I told my wife that he said "no house work, hammering, or lawn mowing" but she did not buy it. I told her to give him a call. My doctor is so cool, I am sure he will not let me down, but I called him anyway!!!!

Dale (city worker) and I went to put out flags for alt. pins (again). Who knows, they might even put them in! They don't like any of the ideas that I gave them about locks and stuff, so we are just going to bolt them in and they will make some low cover for the pins not in use. This will suck because they will get stolen, and broken by the mower! They might work, but I am not sure at all. Hopefully they will start digging soon. Tourney is coming soon. By the way, plans are under way for the tourney. I sent out my letters yesterday and called someone on a tip from the Chamber of Commerce lady. We have our first $50.00 Sponsor! There is still a lot of work to do and with Am Worlds this year, I don't know if I will get it all done. I am playing a lot more than I usually do! We will see!

Come on Don, stop slacking and get your butt out there and dig some holes.

I am going to be in you neck of the woods this weekend. We have a family reunion in WaKeeney. Disc golf is in the plans for Saturday afternoon. I think that most of the family members will be playing. If you have nothing going on, roll into town and play.

You know you want another shot at the course record.

What time Saturday Smitty? I might be able to swing up to Wakeeney in the morning or afternoon. Sounds like we have some disc golf promoting to do in this community.

I don't know if there is a time set. It will be in the afternoon. Probably right after the balloon toss, and before the 3 legged race.

Sounds good. My wife will be in Sharon till evening!

I have always been willing to work for the course! When I bring that up, they just say the guys will do it! They have a bobcat and an auger atachment! It would only take them a couple hours.

By the way, I played a few of the alt pins last night (to the flags). I don't really like hole one short. I am thinking about keeping it long and just moving it to the right. Any opinions on this (from anyone?). They are probably digging that one right now!

Dude if you don't like it, move it. Don't live with it.

It may be kind of hard to find a good spot, with 18 running up the right and 2 on the left. Make that puppy longer, is that an option?
