I throw pretty much the same distance as you dm4 and this beast really does seem to glide a little farther for me. You can tell it's the new beast if it says 2 time disc golf world champion on it and the name and weight are written on the inside rim. I'm not getting too excited about it yet though, ...

new improved Beast

Just wondering if any of you guys have tried out the 2x Beast. I got one for a best man gift last weekend and gave it a try last night. It's quite a bit domier then the old beast and really glided for me well. I could throw it about 30-40 feet past my old Beast. Looking forward to trying out the wra...

I think I get the gist of it. Sounds like a pretty fun change of pace, I'll have to give it a try. Thanks for the explanation.

We had our first league night this evening and we were very happy with the turnout. There ended up being 13 people, many of whom hadn't ever played a round before. The public par of 72 that the new people played by hopefully gave them enough success that they'll come back next week. Random doubles s...

League ideas

A couple of my disc golfin buddies and I are trying to start a league and I was wondering if anybody had some tips on the most trouble free way to get one started. We were thinking about having random draw doubles the first few nights and going from there. I live on campus at Northwest Missouri Stat...

I plan on joining when the new year rolls around and the single biggest reason for my decision was the friendly atmosphere at the two kdga tournaments that I went to this year (Ransom, Dodge City). I had never experienced tournament disc golf and I was impressed with everyone's willingness to answer...

We usually always play it and Beloit whenever the wife and I get a chance to visit. Kevin and I made a little day trip a few weeks ago and played in Fairbury, NE and Beatrice. Both courses were fun and I especially liked Beatrice. We even got a chance to talk to the guy who designed it. Kevin has be...

Kevin Brown is from Concordia, KS. He's my brother in law, we both

played our first ever tournament at Ransom this year. Great time and

everybody made us feel welcome. He got me into the game and now I

play everyday here in NW Missouri. Fun forum guys, keep it up!
