Kearney

The tournament in Kearney on the 6th of May will be 2 rounds at Cottonmill. Unfortunately it is gonna be awhile until my pasture course will be ready for any serious play. The ice storm this past winter has left me with a huge mess. Jake and I spent about 4 hours out there last weekend cutting up fa...

McCook

Hey guys whats up? Sorry I haven't kept in touch but I took most of last year off due to injury. I seem to be recovering and hope to play a few more events this year. Glad to hear that the McCook course is being used and enjoyed. I was very pleased the way it turned out. Hope to see a bunch of you t...

R-Factor

Whatever the story is, I get it. That guy will drive you nuts!

2 or 3 years ago I was sitting tied for 2nd going into the last round at A Call to Arms in Omaha. I got paired with the Factor and I think I ended up in like 6th or 7th.

He's like a mosquito buzzing in your ear that you just can't swat.

Camping

Team Rodiek is planning on coming down again.
Is there anywhere around that we can pitch a tent for the night?

Beloit

Doesn't look like we will be able to make Beloit. :(

It's the same weekend as Community Olympics which is almost as fun a playing disc golf and we've already made the commitment.

Gonna try to make Emporia.

Ratings

Chris, you might have shot 1000+ each round. We'll have to see when the official ratings are calculated. My gut tells me that those are a bit low.(at least I hope they are.)

Scores

Scores are posted on nebdisc.com. Highlights from the weekend included great courses and Wind . My highlight from Saturday was watching Jake, with 3 holes to play, make a 35' putt into a headwind to save a circle 3 and on the very next hole park his tee shot, (485' downhill). With that strong finish...

Holdredge

The Holdredge course went in about 2 years ago. It is a fun little 9 with multiple pin placements. I kinda forget about it. I should get down and play it again one of these days.

$

Thanks to Chad, Tracy and Dusty for coming up from Hays for Sunday's Watch Your Step Open. The morning round went well and then the wind blew like a "Muther" and made for some interesting golf in the afternoon. Also thanks to Adam for coming up from Beloit. Kansas golfers are good people. ...

Drive time

Chad,
Drive time from Hays to our front door is almost exactly 2 1/2 hours.
The camping is primitve. But should be fun. Come on up Saturday, we'll drink a beer.

Courses

I'm not sure how you knew, but for the tournament Cottonmill is set at excactly 6,000'. If you've not played it before it is fairly technical with elevation changes, 2 shots across water(easy) and 2 holes that the water parallels the holes. The fairways are well defined but if you stray to far you w...
