Just saw this today, but I went to Pratt. Sorry I missed you! Hope you had a good round or two. For sure next time! Don Don and anyone else from Norton, I'm gonna be at the park most of the day tomorrow for a family get together. If your in town, I'd be happy to fit a round in with ya! If not, mayb...

Any news is better than no news at all.

Sorry to put a stop to the silence on the Norton Threads, but had to brag about finally deucing 15 (short) last month when I was in town visiting my grandmother. Possibly the best roller I've thrown on that hole to date, and still had to hit a 60 fter to boot. To make the day, I even ran into gasper...

Bill Self to Oklahoma State???

Pretty sad right before the final four and all I'm hearin is how Boone Pickens and Oklahoma State are primed to come after Bill Self, as Oklahoma State is his alma matter. First off, I think alot of Jayhawks fans would actually be happy to see him go. So Jayhawkers; does he leave? And if he does, (w...

Interesting thougths....

I don't know if it would work or not Don, but have you thought of moving the Tee back to where the alt basket was for hole 3? It would only work for tourneys only, but it would make you throw across the street and through the gap with a nice anny for a rh.

Mr. Brooks

It must have been something special to watch. I hear stories from some of the locals in Lincoln, NE around Roper that he and Laron Haris were the only few people to park #21(666 ft. down hill) at Roper West with an air shot!!

Almena Baskets

Hey Don, how goes it in wintery Norton? I heard from my Grandma that there was some stolen baskets from Almena? I remember a small course with what must have been 9? baskets throwing back and forth across fairways in the old roadside park. Probably been a few years since I played it on my way throug...

Custom Mini's

In preperation for my daughters first birthday party, my wife and I have come up with an idea. We would like to hand out a custom mini to all that come, with obviously her name and birthdate either stamped or dyed onto the mini. If there is anyone out there that knows of this being done, or would li...

Of the courses I've played....

Though I've only played Norton, Colby, Ellis, Hutchison, and Herman Hill, here's my favorites.... #15 Norton, in long up on the burm, just ask Smitty about that one a couple years back at the tourney. Colby #9, tough with lake on the right and a nasty tree in the middle of the fairway. Ellis, #2 or ...
