PERRY COURSE-STATUS UPDATE
The directional signs between each hole have been installed. Tee signs should be here within a week, hopefully installed within two weeks. The course is currently set at the long placements. The course should also be mowed and trimmed this week. FYI the campground is now open for the season if anyon...

Re: LONGVIEW DISC GOLF COURSE AT PERRY LAKE
From US 24 hwy in the town of Perry, go north on Ferguson Rd. about 9 miles. Turn left (west) on 86th street. Stay on 86th for a couple miles until it turns to the south and becomes Hamilton Rd. Continue about a mile and the parking lot will be on the west side of the road. You will see the blue bas...

LONGVIEW DISC GOLF COURSE AT PERRY LAKE
Just wanted to let everyone know that the course at Perry Lake is now playable. The baskets are finally in the ground. The tee signs have been designed, but have not been delivered yet. There are also still a few odds and ends that need wrapped up like trail steps, etc. Come out and give it a try an...

Re: PERRY COURSE WORKDAY
Unfortunately, we only had two guys show up for the workday. We got a decent amount done for only having three guys, but there is still plenty to do. I hope to have another work day sometime soon. Hopefully there will be a better turnout. Much thanks to the guys that showed up for the workday yester...

PERRY COURSE WORKDAY
We will be having a work day on the Perry course on Saturday April 28th, starting at 8:30 am. Necessary tasks include removing small diameter woody brush, pole pruning, dragging branches, minor tree clearing, etc. Weedeaters with a blade and chainsaws will be the most useful tools to finish up this ...

Re: Lake Perry Course Pics Update
86th street and Hamilton Road is the nearest named intersection. Most of the roads within the government boundary line have no official name. Heading north from the intersection of Hwy 24 and Ferguson Rd, turn west on 86th st. from Ferguson. 86th will curve to the south and be renamed to Hamilton Ro...

Re: Lake Perry Course Pics Update
CHAS, you were very close to the course. If you continue south on the road past the Grainery Saloon it would take you by the course. The course is pretty large. It spans from the road where the gate was to about 1/2 mile south on the road that goes by the Grainery. The course traverses that meadow W...

Re: NEW COURSE AT LAKE PERRY WORK DAY
PurpleRick, don't worry there will be several work days in the coming months if you want to participate. We welcome all the help we can get. It will take a lot of work to get this course installed right. Feel free to email me if you have any questions about the course or future workdays etc. Kyle Br...

Re: Possible new course at Perry Lake
The pictures all had descriptions but for some reason they didn't get displayed. If you run your cursor over the pictures, the title/description of the pic should show down at the bottom of the screen. We will have to do a lot of brush clearing, but I think it should make for a nice course.

Ok everyone, here is a link to the pictures of the new course. I ran out of camera battery before hole 18, but there are multiple pics of all the other holes. Hope this helps. http://profile.imageshack.us/user/RangerKB

Re: Possible new course at Perry Lake
I tried to post some pics of the course area, but it won't let me. How do I go about posting pics? I PM'd the administrator, but I wasn't sure if I just wasn't doing something right?

Re: Possible new course at Perry Lake
Hey guys, the park itself is about 20-25 minutes north of I-70, but about 10-15 minutes north of 24 hwy. Sorry if my earlier post sounded critical on some of the comments, that was not my intention. Holes 5 and I think 15 are two really neat shots. Hopefully I can get some photos posted. Keep the co...

Re: Possible new course at Perry Lake
I can tell everyone that there are several reasons we are looking at singe tee pads per hole to start out with. 1. We want to install larger teepads, and concrete work is expensive. 2. The topography limits multiple tee placements on many of the holes 3. Access to many of the holes is remote to say ...
