Apologies for not replying sooner. Work has begun on the South course of the Holsinger Disc Golf Complex (named such in memory of my father who helped me run the Brutal Big Hill events). We now have enough tourney stamped Prodigy discs for the first 25 teams that sign up. Supposed to be a nice windy day tomorrow. Come join us and help raise money for the scholarship fund.

Funding approved. Two new 18 hole courses coming to the Southeast Kansas area this summer. Hope to see some if y'all once we get baskets in the ground.

Thanks to all who came out and to MD Disc Golf for putting on this event. This area has never had a tournament that size and I think they handled it pretty well. Hope everyone who came had a great time & will be back next year.

There are 55 players preregistered for this event. JohnE McCray is no longer registered as noted in original post, but there's still some great players in this field.

Just thought I'd share that we are on the docket for the Parsons City Commission Meeting on April 7th at 6pm at the Parsons Municipal Building in the City Commission Room. This meeting will be the final step in getting not one, but two, permanent 18 hole disc golf courses out at Big Hill Lake around...

This year the tournament will held at the Idle Hour Lake in Altamont, and the Arb. Course in Parsons. Tournament will go on as planned at Big Hill. I'm throwing up a tentative course map. This will pretty much be the layout. Maybe a little tinkering, but nothing major. For any coming to this event I just wanted to give a head's up. The govt. shut down means that Big Hill Lake is closed for business. If this is not resolved soon, we will be moving the tournament. There will be a 20 hole set up in the morning at The Arb in Parsons followed by a 27 hole layout at Idl...
